German Movie Night December 2009

SPECIAL DATE: 2nd Saturday of the month

The Arizona Center for Germanic Cultures (AC4GC) presents a double feature:

Dinner for One (Der 90. Geburtstag)

This film will be shown in English without German subtitles

A very old woman wants to have dinner with her friends. As they are all dead, the butler has to play the role of every guest. He does a very good job, but wine can get you easily drunk, when you're drinking it for six people!

Feuerzangenbowle

This film will be shown in German without English subtitles

Hans Pfeiffer and some of his friends are drinking "Feuerzangenbowle". Talking about their school-time they discover that Hans never was at a regular school and so, as they think, missed an important part of his youth. They decide to send him back to school to do all the things he never could do before.
