Good day,
I wanted to take a moment of your time in order to make you aware of a musical event. Attached is a brochure, which should be somewhat explanatory. The Schott Chöre of Aschaffenburg, from the Franconian region in the northern part of Bavaria in Germany will be touring the western part of the United States in late September. There will be a one night performance at the church in which I attend. The location will be at St. Jerome Catholic Parish at 10815 N. 35th Avenue, Phoenix. The date and time will be Sunday September 27th at 6 PM. The Choir will sing modern German Catholic Music at our regular 6 PM Mass. Everyone is welcome join us in the celebration of our Liturgy that evening. We will not charge for this portion of the evening. The following concert will be their only Arizona performance.
After the Mass is complete, we will have refreshments under our recently completed breezeway.cover. The church sanctuary will be vacated during this time. This is for set up and preparation for the concert. Their concert will follow. This is the portion of the evening which will require a ticket. The choir does many types of music including German Folk, Classical, of course Religious among others. The choir is a composite of the best singers of 3 choirs under the direction of Herr Heinz Schott.
