Events Overview

1) Springfest/Maifest
In 2019 Springfest will again be hosted by the Swiss Society. The event takes place at a park in Chandler on April 7.

2) Oktoberfest
The focus of the Old World Oktoberfest in the park is to celebrate the
German heritage and culture with the traditional "Gemuetlichkeit" and
entertainment with the "Die Echten Waldbuam" music group directly from Germany. Alphorn Blowing, Stein Holding, Dance, and Best Dress Contests and a presentation of field handball will provide an atmosphere of authentic European. Admission for adults is $5. (young adults under 21, youth, and kids are free!)

3) Christkindlmarkt
The Christkindlmarkt – a celebration held throughout Central Europe – will
bring cherished German and European traditions to the Valley of the Sun with holiday entertainment, German and Polish cuisine, vendors and local artisans
selling merchandise like glass art and Christmas ornaments, and
much more for the whole family! Admission will be free.

4) Deutschsprachiger Weihnachtsgottesdienst (German-language Christmas Service)
The 9th annual German-language Christmas Service for the Phoenix metro area will be held at 4:10 pm on December 16, 2018, at Mountain View Lutheran Church in Ahwatukee.
